I would, because I don't have a car, or own a home, neither does some friends or family, there are few things I would do for myself and family before I Bought this lovely lady Jessie a vehicle. I was also saying that She is going to win the truck, and that if I were a millionaire I would buy her a car to take home with her new truck. And I have to say I agree, it is a run on paragraph. My other posts have pretty good grammar though.

Just saw all of the comments. Katies distant friend told me about this. I started watching, and I must say boring. But reading the comments, I now feel bad for Jessie. Not because of the single mother or no car thing. Katies fans seem to be reaching, she seemed to shoot herself in the foot with a few comments. Jessie hasnt overstepped anything. For some reason everyone suddenly seems to believe this has become a Charity Event. I don't understand the way all you people seem to be thinking -- "Jessie DESERVES this truck because her car is broke down" -- What's up with that? Katie has a younger son that needs transporting also - has anyone seen the 'car' that Katie drives? It is a wreck and has numerous safety issues. Why do some posts go up immediately and others take 2 or more hours? Also - in an earlier post it was stated that different email addresses can use the same computer to vote. How do you get to re-register the other email address? My computer brings up that it has already participated in the survey no matter who is signed in on it.

You can't say that she hasn't played the game. The name is Survive It & Drive It, not make yourself gross and lie to the other contestants to get them out of the truck. Jessy went into the this contest planning to be herself, to endure the challenges, and to outlast everyone else. She's done a great job on that! The radio station asked yesterday why she should have people vote for her, so she gave her reasons. Katie did the same thing, but for some reason Jessy doning it is "whining" but Katie doing it is "competing". Jessy has played the game and Survived, so now it comes down to who's more deserving. I think Jessy is, but I also would call Katie a whiner because of it! Jessy has my vote, and everyone who wants to vote and pick whoever they want based on whatever they want. now go vote and stop the mudslinging!!!

I just wanted to say that both of these two women have been very classy throughout this whole event. Both have exhibited grace under pressure and have not resorted to meanness or backbiting. Well, since they get to move around and get out every few hours, the total deprivation thing probably won't work and has likely been discussed...but what has not been discussed seems to be BEES. Go up right after they've had a break and black out the truck, sound and light gone...then wait a bit...and start doing small quiet noises here and there to get their mind wound up...have you ever been in a house that got bees in the walls? According to the rules received by Katie (and reviewed by dozens as well) and Jessie, it clearly states that the voting would be "Survivor Styled Voting" which means you'd be voting someone OFF the truck. Katie provided that documentation to Susan, the event coordinator, yesterday and Susan indicated she had to take that to KUFO's corporate to see what they needed to do about that. However, as soon as I heard the interview her MySpace was changed to reflect that. Additionally, her team coordinating votes outside of that truck also sent instructions that clearly stated "we don't know if KUFO will change the rules" and "read the instructions for voting carefully". So, yes, some may have inadvertently voted for Jessie as a result of Katie's MySpace posting. However, that "stupidity" was not on the part of Katie. Incidentally, does Jessie have an Associates of Arts and numerous other certifications? Or is she simply a pencil-pusher in a dead-end job because she has no ambition other than to have free rent?

No, I was not saying that a vote for Jessie is against Jessie. I was saying, initially according to the rules provided to Katie and Jessie, that it was "survivor style". KUFO changed that to the current "Winner Style". So, a vote for Jessie is a vote for Jessie to win the truck. A vote for Katie is a vote for Katie to win the truck. It was not my intent to confuse anyone. Good lord, conspiracy theorists abound!

Again, Katie's husband here. It is currently 1:36PM so voting closes in a little under 2 1/2 hours. It is clear by all the blogging back and forth here that everyone has a good grasp of their own opinions. Having been there every weeknight since this contest began I must say that Jessie is indeed a wonderful person and there's not really anything anyone can say bad about her. One of the reasons I love my wife so much is because she's the way she is. So both have their merits and I know that either way this goes, they both deserve our appreciation and our respect (in one form or another, even if that means keeping your mouth closed - one of the greatest virtues). Therefore, as voting is essentially over, can we all cease our attempts at assassination and patiently await for the results to cheer the winner? I know that if Jessie wins I will shake her hand and congratulate her. I'm pretty darned confident that if Katie wins that Jessie would do the same. Both these women will then deserve some peace and quiet. Can we start with that now please? Thank you all for your opinions, your input, your support of EITHER of these remarkable women, and for supporting this great radio station. Im just a listener i dont know either of the girls but jessica seems nice and down to earth she needs this truck as well as deserves katie sounds annoying and she seems like she is putting up a front for the camera saying shes done all this wonderful stuff just for more votes

Final comment now that Jessica has been announced the winner. I find it odd that no one checked out Jessica's story. Everyone bought her story that she has no vehicle and a son to take care of. A family member of hers told me that her x has custody ofthe boy and that Jessica has exercise room plus swimming poolS available to her. She is neither down or out. Everyone just bought her story because they wanted to believe it!

That truly bit! 2 weeks and someone pulls the plug early? Hmph, obviously not KUFO staff, as they had a vested interest. Could it have been a disgruntled neighbor of Dick Hannah, pulling the plug?

Waaaaaa!!!! Like katie's story was real either. she flip flopped her crap all week. Congrats Jess. You won the game wichever way you played it.

It doesn't matter. She won. Could her story have been a total lie? Sure. So could Katie's. I personally think both ladies were telling the truth about their situations, but they both could have been full of it. Bottom line: it was a game. BSing and going for the sympathy vote is totally in bounds. If we were going to go by who is more deserving, then both of them should have gotten a truck. They both played the game well [and since I believe they were both telling the truth] they both were in great need too.

Jessie was telling the truth. No pool or exercise room and her son does live with her. Both woman are winners! Don't understand why there had to be so much negativity towards the woman.

I forgot there is a pool. But, it really isn't much of a pool. My mistake. This is not a fancy place.
