Want to submit your band? Here are a few guidelines for submitting music:
As excited as you are about your band, don't send your music in until it's ready. "Ready" meaning vocals and instruments are in key (you'd be surprised how many aren't) and the tracks are produced and fit for radio play. That doesn't mean you have to spend a ton of money, there are many avenues for great recordings. Remember, you only get once chance at a first impression.
If you are going to mail us your CD, include a bio, one page is fine, just enough so that we know a little more about you.
Include a track listing and indicate any tracks that have swearing (the FCC hates swearing). You may also want to point out which tracks you feel are your strongest.
Cheezy Flicks Entertainment presents: “STRIPPERBAND” A battle of 40 NW Bands to be on the “Stripperland” Movie Soundtrack and to be a featured act at KUFO's Rockfest! The winning band will also be the featured artist on KUFO's Viva La Luna and receive an Artist Development package through Black Diamond Recording Studios, Rose City Music Management and Strychnine Records. Cheezy Flicks Entertainment will provide mastering of a minimum of 3 songs (50 Hours Studio time), Rose city music management will provide an artist consulting and possibly an agency deal. Cheezy Flicks Entertainment will also produce a professional music video for the winning band! The contest will span 12 weeks of performances.
